Medjugorje, Dubrovnik & Prague

 Day l:  Depart Newark on your transatlantic flight to Prague / Split. Dinner and breakfast served on board.

 Day 2: On our arrival in Split we will be met by our tour guide, who will be with us for the duration of our pilgrimage.  We will be taken by motor coach on a 2-l/2 hour beautiful, scenic drive to the village of Medjugorje. We will be introduced to our Host family where will be staying for the next seven nights.  You will be served breakfast and supper daily.

 

Day 3 - 8:  In Medjugorje you will experience the true love and peace of Our Lady of Medjugorje.  You will have the opportunity to share our Catholic faith with hundreds of pilgrims from around the world. Each morning we will celebrate an English speaking Mass with other pilgrims. Every evening at 6:00 pm we will pray the Holy Rosary with villagers and pilgrims. At 6:40 pm the apparition allegedly occurs.  We will then celebrate Holy Mass in Croatian (translations available on battery operated radios).  The sick are blessed after Mass. 

 

 We will follow the same path up Apparition Hill where Our Lady first appeared to the visionaries.  You may pray before the cross that commemorates the spot where Mary appeared.  We will also have the opportunity to climb Krizevac Mountain., where in l933 the villagers built a 30' high cross to commemorate Jesus' crucifixion…many healing and graces flow here.  We recommend you make daily visits to the chapel (2 minutes from St. James Church) which offers 24 hours Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament.  We will visit the parish of Father Jozo and depending on his schedule, attend his highly inspirational talk and receive his powerful healing blessing.  Arrangements will be made to meet with one or more of the visionaries if they are available.

 

Visit to Dubrovnik: After breakfast and Holy Mass at St. James Church, we will depart Medjugorje for Dubrovnik, the 'Pearl of the Adriatic'.  We will visit one of the world's oldest pharmacies, the medieval walls and historical buildings, including a rector's palace, monasteries and the harbor.  We will also visit the Basilica of St. Blaise, the patron Saint of Dubrovnik and other historical churches… overnight in Medjugorje.

 

Day  9: After breakfast - transfer to the airport for our flight to Prague, transfer to our hotel - dinner and overnight.

 

Day  10: After breakfast - today our tour of Prague starts with Holy Mass at the Infant of Jesus Church. Father Jerome will have a special blessing with the Holy oil that drips from the lamp of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Afternoon we will visit the Little Quarter, the Old Town Square to view the magnificent Astronomical Clock, St. Wenceslaus square. Rest of day free to explore this beautiful city of the Czech Republic - dinner and overnight.

 

Day  11:  After breakfast - today our tour of Prague starts with Holy Mass at the Infant of Jesus church, Father Jerome will have a special Healing Mass.  Later we will visit the 1000 year old and Hradcany Castle.  We take in the breathtaking panorama of the Czech Capital, considered by many to be Europe’s most beautiful.  We explore St. Vitus’s Cathedral, flooded by glowing, colored lights from its huge stained glass windows. Its exquisitely ornate Chapel of St. Wenceslaus houses the tomb of the Good King who was tragically murdered by his brother. We then descend to the Old Town Square   Afternoon free for your last minute shopping - dinner and overnight.

 
Day  12:  After breakfast - Holy Mass - transfer to air port for your flight to Newark

 

 All Marian Pilgrimages: are accompanied by one or more Marian Priests, who celebrate daily Mass, lead Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, are available for confessions and private counseling and give inspirational talks. Together, we pray daily, the four Mysteries of the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Price includes: Round trip airfare: Newark /Prague / Split / Newark, accommodation in family homes in Medjugorje (2 meals per day) and  3 - 4 star hotels in  Prague, 2 meals a day, a luxury coach, a professional English-speaking guide and a local guide (where necessary), transfers, entrance fees, sightseeing and portage.

Not included: airport taxes, insurance, tips to the driver and guide and add-on airfare from any other US city.
